NBR is a copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene monomer, which is mainly produced by low temperature emulsion polymerization. It has excellent oil resistance and high wear resistance, heat resistance and strong adhesion, but the insulation performance is not ideal, and the elasticity is slightly lower. NBR is mainly used in the manufacture of oil-resistant rubber products, the more acrylonitrile content, the better the oil resistance, but the cold resistance is decreased accordingly. NBR also has good water resistance, air tightness and excellent bonding properties, and is an essential elastic material in the automotive, aviation, petroleum, copying and other industries.
